The PlayStation 4 (PS4) is a home video game console developed by Sony Computer Entertainment.
But sometimes when you activate your PlayStation 4 as primary or reactivate your licenses then it gives an error code NP-41397-4 that says: “Cannot connect to the server within the time limit” OR “There might have been a problem in connecting to the network, or PlayStation Network or the server of the service provider might be temporarily busy”
So, in this article, I will guide you on how to fix the PS4 error code “NP-41397-4”.
Step 1: Restart your console and check whether the problem gets solved otherwise follow the other steps.
Step 2: Go to “Settings”.

Step 3: Go to “Network”.

Step 4: Click on “Set Up Internet Connection”.

Step 5: If you are using Wi-Fi, click on “Use Wi-Fi” and if you are using LAN then click on “Use a LAN Cable”. It’s preferable to use LAN.

Step 6: Click on “Custom”.

Step 7: Click on “Automatic”.

Step 8: Click on “Do Not Specify”.

Step 9: Click on “Manual”.

Step 10: Change Primary DNS to “8.8.8.8” and Secondary DNS to “8.8.4.4”. OR Primary DNS to “1.1.1.1” and Secondary DNS to “1.0.0.1”. And click on “Next”.

Step 11: Set MTU Settings to “Automatic”.

Step 12: Set Proxy Server as “Do Not Use”.

Step 13: Click on “Test Internet Connection”.

It will take some time to Set Up and check the Internet Connection. Then you will no longer see PS4 Error NP-41397-4.
