What are the criteria for getting a badge verified on OpenSea?

The first thing for gettings a badge on OpenSea is to verify your account on OpenSea.

Once your account is verified, any collection with at least 75 ETH of volume (or equivalent in SOL) will be eligible to be badged. 

Before you can apply for account verification, your account must have:

  • A username
  • A profile picture
  • A verified email address
  • A connected Twitter account

To check whether you are eligible or not for OpenSea verified account open the OpenSea website click on the profile icon and go to the account settings.

Here’s how to apply for account verification: 

  1. Navigate to your Profile settings.
  2. Find the Apply for verification heading at the top of the page.
  3. Once you’ve completed your profile, click Submit request.

  • A title
  • A banner
  • A logo image
  • A connected Twitter account
  • All collection items minted/revealed
  • Certification by the collection creator that the work is original

Here’s how to apply for a badge:

  1. Navigate to your collection page.
  2. In the upper right corner, click the Pencil icon to edit your collection.
  3. Scroll down to the Apply for a collection badge heading. 
  4. Once all of the criteria are met, click the Request badge.

In 7 days you will get a response from OpenSea Support Team. in the meantime you can check the review’s decision on the collection edit page.

If your request is declined then you will be waiting for 7 days to submit the application again.
